Cloud-based IT offerings provider Harbour IT Cloud Solutions has partnered with CommVault to make its cloud computing more flexible and secure through CommVault’s software.
With CommVault’s software which is used to power Harbour IT’s cloud backup and recovery systems, customers can have greater control to coordinate their own backups when needed.
Harbour IT has selected CommVault because it has the multi-tenanted offering integrating a variety of management tools, including VMware’s VSphere technology and Cisco UCS.
With CommVault, Harbour IT can now support multi-tiered SAN environments to allow customer backups across varying SANs.
Harbour IT Cloud Solutions National Cloud Services representative Adam Simpson said the Harbour IT Cloud is a hybrid cloud where multiple customers store data, and each customer’s data is separated and secured.
"Companies find operating under our Cloud beneficial because it reduces business risk, improves disaster recovery systems, and allows workers from across the globe to access secure data," said Simpson.
