Ground Labs, a provider of security and auditing software offerings for PCI compliance, has launched the new Enterprise Recon, a PCI compliance software offering.
The new Enterprise Recon enables organisations reduce the likelihood of cardholder data breaches and achieve compliance with the recently revised Data Security Standard, PCI DSS v2.0.
The new Enterprise Recon offering is designed to discover stored cardholder data within all types of documents, emails and application data files.
The centralised Enterprise Recon Master Server then compiles all the findings into an easily readable reporting format that is stored on a central management platform to present a consolidated view of all non-compliant findings across an organisation.
Ground Labs chief architect Peter Duthie said advanced enterprise-wide searches for sensitive data were previously available only through the deployment of hardware appliance offerings.
"Enterprise Recon enables accurate discovery of cardholder data storage by applying our proven cardholder data detection algorithms across an entire network, while maximising accuracy and minimising false positives," Duthie said.
The company said the Enterprise Recon cardholder data discovery scans can be performed on Windows, Linux, Solaris, IBM AIX and HP-UX platforms.
