Google has launched an updated mapping application that offers details of sponsored hotels and improved navigation results.

The latest upgrade offers users a better hotel search results that would also include sponsored ads with rates as well as links to booking sites.

According to reports, the update boosts navigation, which also previews route and improved traffic overviews.

The search engine firm has also included a ‘Tips and Tricks’ menu, which can be used via the slideout navigation, which is similar to a redirect to a Maps support page.

Google has also offered bug fixes within the latest mapping application update.

Last month, Google added real-time traffic reports from its latest acquisition of Israeli mapping firm Waze to its Maps, which allows app users to report report accidents, construction and road closures.

In its July update for mapping application, Google offered improvements to local search, and incorporate dynamic traffic reports, while ditching popular latitude service.
