Google has launched the new conversational search feature on Chrome 27 browser for Mac, Windows and Linux.
Aimed at enabling search within and across users’ Google+ photo albums from Google Search itself, the new feature is same as the voice search and Google Now apps on Android and iOS devices.
The new functionality enables users to ask Google questions by speaking with the search engine in a conversational manner through words and phrases, without requiring to enter search terms manually.
Google said that the search engine responds in a more natural, human-like way, creating a feeling of personalisation.
Additionally, the service displays Google Now-like cards at the top of search results when it uses a Google service.
According to Google, if the users sign in with their Google credentials and use Google Calendar for events, the new feature would even dig out events when they search for them.
Recently, Google has also introduced social networking apps including Facebook and Twitter for Google Glass, in addition to other apps including News network CNN, fashion magazine Elle, online apps Tumblr and Evernote.
