Go Taggle releases new mobile apps Taggle

Shoppers can obtain product reviews, information and deals by scanning any type of barcode or QR-code

By Vinod

Go Taggle has released Taggle, a mobile application, that lets shoppers share, rate, and review products.

Taggle is built on the Taggle Mobile Cloud, an Amazon-based web service that allows retailers and brands to communicate product information, coupons and deals to mobile users based on products they like and share.

The new mobile application is available on Apple iPhone, iPad, iTouch, as well as Android-based devices.

With the new mobile application, shoppers can obtain product reviews, information and deals simply by scanning any type of barcode or QR-code and it supports the emerging nearfield communications or NFC, a core technology in the emerging mobile wallet from vendors such as Google and the ISIS consortium.

Taggle allows shoppers to share what they buy and what they want on popular social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, giving retailers significant insight into the social buzz around their product offerings and marketing programmes.

Go Taggle president and founder Dennis Ladd said the goal of Taggle is to enhance the shopping experience to the benefit of the consumer and retailers that serve them.

"With Taggle’s repository of information on over six million products, retail stores can easily promote products and services through social media and reach customers whether they are in the store, at home, or on the go," said Ladd.
