Fujitsu has unveiled a new edition of its ‘IPKNOWLEDGE’ internal information consolidation offering for use by independent administrative institutions in Japan.
The new platform centrally manages information associated with the internal operations of independent administrative institutions, including information relevant to accounting, HR, payroll, general affairs, document management, and travel expenses management.
The platform also offers an electronic authorization feature that enables all tasks to be authorized from a single screen, in addition to facilitating the coordination of different tasks during times of personnel change, structural reform, budget management, and system reform.
Institutions can consolidate expenses related to hardware, software, operations and maintenance, and as a result, reduce costs by approximately 30% in comparison to deploying individual systems for each task.
Fujitsu also plans to launch the ‘IPKNOWLEDGE Independent Administrative Institution Accounting System’ in October 2011.
