Fujitsu and Totech Amenity have launched file delivery Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering that employs Fujitsu’s cloud service and enable users send large-volume files.
Previously, in 2004 Totech Amenity had launched easyFiLEX, a package that enables large-volume file sending.
In order to make easyFiLEX accessible to customers who have been unable to deploy it due to cost and operational concerns, Totech is offering the package as easyFiLEX Cloud, a SaaS offering that leverages Fujitsu’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)-based cloud service and On-Demand Virtual System Service.
The new easyFiLEX Cloud allows users to send and receive large-volume, multiple-GB files, and features internal controls that allow users on departmental level to check operations logs, file transmission and receipt histories.
Fujitsu said that Totech will also be launching a free six-month trial campaign for the new SaaS offering from October 2010 until March 2011 that will allow customers to utilise the file delivery service.
