Fujitsu has unveiled a new Windows 7 F-07C mobile phone.
The F-07C, which the company calls is the ‘world’s smallest PC’ comes standard with a two-year license for Microsoft Office Personal 2010 and other basic PC functionality.
The phone also features mobile phone features such as Osaifu-Keitai. It runs on Intel Atom processor, a two-year Microsoft Office Personal 2010 license, and the latest version of Windows Internet Explorer 9.
The company said, "Despite its compact form, users can fully use the F-07C as a PC."
The new phone also supports i-mode mail, i-concier, and other services from Docomo, as well as security features like Omakase Lock.
Users have the option to switch between Windows 7 PC mode and mobile phone mode with "just the push of a button", said the company.
The phone, with a 4-inch (1024 × 600) high-resolution LCD screen, also features a QWERTY keyboard layout, and a trackball and left-click button enable mouse-like operations.
In the event that the mobile phone is lost, features like Omakase Lock and Mobile Phone Location Service allow users to remotely lock it and determine its approximate location, said the company.
The F-07C mobile phone will be available in Japan from NTT DOCOMO beginning 23 July 2011, said the company.
