Fujitsu has launched a new vertically integrated virtualisation and cloud platform, FUJITSU Integrated System Cloud Ready Blocks, in Japan to simplify deployment of virtual and cloud environments.
The new product is claimed to improve the functionality its predecessor, Cloud Ready Blocks.
According to the company, the new Cloud Ready Blocks enhances the process of building, deploying, operating, and managing ICT infrastructure, to decrease operational and administrative workloads.
In addition, the product is claimed to improve functionality as an infrastructure platform, while offering lower operating costs, and by including it as a switch that supports network virtualisation based on the software defined networking, it removes the hurdles of network operation when expanding system scale, reducing operational and administrative costs across the system’s entire lifecycle by up to 60%
Features provided by the platform include, reduced time and work to bring a system from deployment to operations, integrated management of infrastructure systems for reduced operational overhead and supporting for hybrid cloud environment.
The platform is scheduled to be launched in mid-June in Tokyo, Japan.
