FeedHenry 3 update features Teams and Collaboration enhancement

Red Hat's mobile app allows global collaboration on app projects.

By Ellie Burns

Red Hat’s FeedHenry 3 mobile app platform has been updated to include a new Teams and Collaboration enhancement.

The enhancement allows global collaboration on mobile app projects, enabling both in-house and outsourced distributed development teams to work simultaneously. Developers can work individually, but with access to relevant project-related components.

Role-based collaboration across the app lifecycle allows multiple skills and teams to work concurrently across multiple application projects. This enables applications to get to market faster without impacting individual developer agility and productivity.

Configuration of fine-grained controls at individual levels of each mobile project enables ease and security of access to key project components. This helps lock functionality at different levels within the platform.

Finally, the enhancements allow company-wide visibility across mobile projects. Visibility is achieved by centraliscing collaboration and control across multiple skills in multiple mobile projects, across various stages of their lifecycle.

Chris Marsh, principal analyst, 451 Research commented: "With 40 percent of large enterprises planning to increase their application development outsourcing, collaboration across enterprise IT, lines of business and any external partners that may be involved is crucial.

"As the complexity of juggling multiple application projects and the pressure of faster development cycles increase, enterprises will look to platform vendors to offer more team-based collaboration features that provide centralized visibility and control of all application development projects across the organization."
