Facebook has rolled out its Promoted Page Likes globally after introducing to US businesses in December 2012.
The new feature will allow users to run ads and promote their pages as well as create ads directly from their page to attract more fans.
According to the Facebook, the Promoted Page Likes has been designed for new advertisers without having sophisticated audience targeting needs.
The ads are similar to traditional ads created by small and midsized businesses, which will appear on mobile or desktop to encourage users to like the pages.
Users who want to use ‘Promoted Page Likes’ can open Page admin view, click the on Promoted Page Likes panel to customise the ad campaign.
Users can also stipulate a budget and target ads by location, city, state or country.
The social network also added the ads will include link to make other people to like the page easily while users can select their daily budget.
