Russian mobile phone retailer Euroset has upgraded and extended its centralized data security system with the Cisco Security Agent endpoint security system across its network of 4,700 retail outlets in Russia and CIS.
To efficiently monitor, manage and enforce consistent security across servers and desktops, Euroset needed a system that could potentially offer zero-update attack protection, data loss prevention, and signature-based antivirus in a single agent, said Cisco.
With successful pilot running since 2006, using Cisco Security Agent (CSA) 4.5 across 5,000 agents, Inline Technologies, a technology partner of Cisco, has won the contract for a company-wide deployment of CSA 5.2.

CSA helped us to centralize and simplify management of data security in Euroset’s distributed IT infrastructure, as well as reduce the risk of downtime in automatic sales support systems at our retail outlets.
