Entrust, a provider of identity based security offerings, has introduced an advanced mobile authentication application that offers security capabilities for organisations, to defeat the malware threats affecting online-banking users.
The mobile security platform enables authentication, as well as transaction review and confirmation, on the handheld device.
It offers behavioral and transactional fraud detection, SMS authentication with transaction details, and mobile transaction verification and signature, Entrust said.
The platform can be operated on Apple iPhone, RIM BlackBerry, Microsoft Windows Mobile and Symbian (Java) smartphone platforms and is available as part of the newest release of IdentityGuard 9.3.
