Enterprise Content Integration company EntropySoft has added repository changes tracking, a new feature to its portfolio of 30 read/write enterprise connectors.

The company said that the feature will provide six connectors with the ability to track changes to the repository and deliver a list of added, updated and deleted documents since the last request. Changes to content, permissions and metadata are taken into account on an immediate basis.

In addition, the new feature is used to monitor and register all the modifications happening in any content repository. In the enterprise search market, the repository changes tracking feature is a ‘must-have’, so as to keep an index updated.

The company said that the new feature is included in the latest release of its connectors’ portfolio which includes improvements across all connectors. Its connectors now also support URL generation, improved exception handling, improved schema information details, full details on permissions and user and group directories.

The new repository changes tracking feature is available for the following systems: EMC Documentum Content Server, Open Text Livelink, IBM FileNET P8, Microsoft SharePoint 2007, Microsoft Exchange WebStorage, Open Text eDocs Hummingbird DM.
