Embotics, a provider of virtualisation and private cloud management, has unveiled V-Commander 3.7, which provides a complete suite of capabilities to manage virtual infrastructures and private clouds.
The new offering is designed to deliver an all-in-one package to enable enterprises to control VM deployments, identify bottlenecks, manage capacity and optimise configurations to improve VM performance in data centres.
The company said that the V-Commander 3.7 had a capability to scale to thousands of VMs, and the ability to manage an organisation’s virtual infrastructure through a single pane of glass.
In addition, the V-Commander’s integrated suite delivers policy-driven automation throughout its entire lifecycle and offers: automated remediation of non-compliant VMs, driven by flexible user-defined business policies; framework integration with vSphereTM, VMware’s infrastructure client.
The new offering also provides VIC plugin, integrated alerting, customisable self-service VM request forms, and enhanced capacity and performance management capabilities, including new bottleneck and rightsizing reports.
Embotics president and CEO Jay Litkey said their vision has always been that IT organisations would need an integrated and scalable single platform to manage their dynamic data centre and cloud computing environments.
"With Version 3.7 of V-Commander, we are delivering a complete management offering that deploys quickly and delivers immediately, clearing a path for organisations to move forward in growing their virtual data centres without fear of sprawl or stall," Litkey said.
