DonRiver, Kony partner to deliver mobile apps for financial services industry

DonRiver to leverage the Kony Platform for mobile services such as banking, payment, and money transfer offerings

By CBR Staff Writer

DonRiver, a technology consulting and mobile application development company, and Kony, a mobile application platform provider, have joined forces to deliver mobile applications to the financial services industry.

DonRiver will leverage the Kony Platform to provide mobile network operators and financial services organisations with mobile services, such as banking, payment, and money transfer offerings.

The Kony Platform enables companies to develop and deploy robust mobile offerings across more than 9,000 devices, 15 operating systems and all channels.

DonRiver Mobile Practice managing director Brent Ho-Young said DonRiver will design and develop a single application that will then be deployed against all of the required channels for a client using the Kony Platform.

The partnership is expected to provide DonRiver’s clientele within Canada, the US and Australia with the ability to focus on the marketing, user experience, financial opportunity of mobile — not the technology barriers of getting it done across multiple channels and platforms.

Kony CEO Raj Koneru said this partnership will help them to effectively address the needs of financial institutions and mobile operators, allowing them to deploy off-the-shelf standard mobile financial services functionality.
