Zeus Technology, a software-based application traffic management vendor, has announced that Domino’s Pizza is using Zeus’ ZXTM software to boost its online sales.
According to Zeus, Domino’s is using Zeus’ ZXTM software across its site to ensure customers placing orders online receive good service and consistent availability, even during peak periods.
Phil Thompson, IT infrastructure manager for Domino’s Pizza, said: The success of our franchises hinge on offering customers the very best level of service whether that be in-store, over the telephone or online. Many of our customers prefer ordering online and will spend on average 20% more than they would in-store, so having the technology in place to deliver a consistent level of service is hugely important.
Paul Brennan, chief executive officer of Zeus Technology, said: In these tough trading conditions it’s critical all retailers have reliable and flexible technology in place so customers receive the levels of service they expect. People won’t think twice about buying from a competitor if they experience downtime or slow service, so investing in software solutions that can manage peaks in traffic should become a top priority.
