Diversified Information Technologies acquires Commercial Data Processing

To strengthen its claims adjudication service

By CBR Staff Writer

Diversified Information Technologies, a provider of document and information lifecycle services, has acquired Commercial Data Processing (CDP), a provider of data capture and data processing services. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Diversified said that this acquisition will strengthen its team of professionals in the health care industry’s claims adjudication, by using CDP’s data capture, data processing and clerical preparation services for clients in the health care and pharmaceutical industries.

The acquisition will also add data capture technology and additional facilities in New Jersey and Barbados, the company said.

This is the third acquisition by Diversified in the last ten months, which it expects to lead to double-digit growth in 2010.

Diversified CEO Scott Byers said the company is excited to join forces with CDP as they align their business approach with customer interests and market realities.

"This will better position Diversified to facilitate health care providers’ transition to electronic medical records and improve capabilities in work-flow offerings and enterprise content management," Byers said.
