Digital River upgrades its World Payments application

Merchants utilising subscription application through Digital River World Payments can now optimise the entire payment lifecycle

E-commerce applications provider Digital River has upgraded its World Payments application to include cloud-based subscription billing.

Merchants utilising the subscription application through Digital River World Payments can now optimise the entire payment lifecycle from subscription initiation through the commerce transaction and payment.

The new integrated application provides merchants access to both global online payment processing and a cloud-based subscription billing service via a single application, a differentiator among competitive subscription applications.

Digital River World Payments subscription billing application offers compliance management for subscriptions, localised recurring billing and currency support across global markets.

It also provides support during pre-and post-transaction stages of the Digital River World Payments lifecycle, including account updater, risk management, in-house fraud prevention and back office services.

The new application includes subscription management tools, including simplified user interface screens for intuitive set-up and ongoing management.

It also includes as reporting features designed to optimise the performance of subscriptions programs and renewal rates as well as customisable billing models, including subscription plans that can scale to accommodate merchant growth.

Digital River World Payments senior vice president and general manager Souheil Badran said the addition of its cloud-based subscription application further strengthens the company’s support of merchants throughout the entire payment and subscription lifecycle.
