eCommerce services provider Digital River has signed a three-year agreement with Nikon, a Japanese camera maker, to design its US online store and manage its eCommerce operations.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Digital River will handle end-to-end eCommerce activity including order and payment processing, subscriptions, digital downloads, fraud protection and e-marketing.
Nikon marketing general manager Lisa Osorio said the company looked at a variety of e-commerce options and quickly determined that Digital River had the most scalable offering.
"Backed by Digital River’s proven technology and expertise growing online businesses, we can increase our responsiveness to the marketplace and deliver an even better online experience for shoppers who visit our site," Osorio said.
