By CBR Staff Writer

eCommerce offerings provider Digital River has received a new agreement from Freecom, a manufacturer of external hard drives and portable storage devices, to manage its European online sales.

Under the terms of agreement, Digital River will manage Freecom’s global eCommerce operations, e-marketing, payments and the physical fulfillment of products across Europe.

In addition, Digital River will help Freecom to develop a multi-channel approach that balances direct and indirect channels for their customers at the local country level.

Digital River senior vice president of global revenue John Strosahl said that the company is pleased to work with Freecom to help them expand their online presence and build upon a well established European brand.
