Dell Services has unveiled a new suite of services for enterprise customers to get the benefits of mobile collaboration, computing and communications enhanced business processes.
The new Enterprise Mobility Services portfolio consists of enterprise scale end-to-end offerings that support multi-carrier, multi-vendor mobile devices and operating systems.
The Enterprise Mobility Services portfolio includes assets and intellectual ‘know-how’ in the areas of: strategic consulting – services to establish an Enterprise Mobile Strategy; and mobile device management – secure mobile lifecycle management services, said the company.
In addition, the offering suite also provides telecom expense management – to manage: voice, data, wireless, international roaming, and VoIP spend; custom application development; mobile enterprise app platform; and security and compliance.
The company said that its Enterprise Mobility Services will be deployed in North America and the UK first followed by expansion into EMEA and APJ regions.
Dell Services president Steve Schuckenbrock said the adoption of smartphone and tablet technology is changing how enterprises do business and challenge enterprises on how to best utilise mobility without compromising security.
"Enterprise Mobility Services alleviates these concerns and allows our customers to strategically map out how best to use mobile technology," Schuckenbrock said.
