Information security services provider Dell SecureWorks has entered into a strategic partnership plan with Qualys, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) IT security risk and compliance management offerings, to deliver SaaS-based vulnerability management services (VMS) to customers worldwide.
As per the agreement, Dell SecureWorks will integrate, manage and re-sell the QualysGuard suite of security and compliance services, including vulnerability management, web application scanning, PCI compliance and policy compliance services.
By providing operational support to configure the technology, map assets, schedule scans and expertly review results, the Dell SecureWorks fully managed service eliminates management overhead.
Dell SecureWorks director of Product Management Dan DeRosa said QualysGuard’s features and Qualys’ commitment to customer security and global reach align nicely with Dell SecureWorks’ strategy to offer comprehensive security services with flexible pricing for organizations of all sizes.
Qualys chairman and CEO Philippe Courtot said they look forward to working with Dell SecureWorks to provide customers with accurate, powerful and cost-effective IT security and compliance services on demand using their SaaS model.
Dell SecureWorks said existing customers of other VMS will be migrated to the new VMS service.
