Dell Boomi has introduced new cloud-based master data management (MDM) offering, which will offer improved capabilities to simplify data management within cloud and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application integration for medium and large enterprises.
The new offering is built on Boomi’s AtomSphere offering, enabling companies of all sizes to help ensure their master customer, item/product, vendor, and employee data is clean, accurate and consistent, all within an adaptable, cloud-based environment.
Dell Boomi’s MDM offering ensures consistent, standard, high quality data across an organisation, enables users to conduct all setup, configuration and management from a Web browser; in a single instance, multi-tenant environment by adopting a pure cloud approach and the new offering will also feature a portable master data store that provides a variety of setup options and enables MDM for any combination of SaaS and on-premise applications.
In addition, Dell Boomi Master Data Management offers the ability to define and model all of user master data to their needs; long term, secure storage of all master data; provides cloud storage or enables customers to setup their own master data store and means to discover and reconcile duplicate records.
MDM works in concert with Boomi AtomSphere to synchronise the relevant changes made to master data across applications as needed, with intelligence that identifies what is the system of record for corresponding sets of data.
In addition, the MDM offering will also leverage the power of Boomi’s other technologies, including the Boomi Suggest, making this MDM the easy to set up and use.
