DayZero Systems releases SigFree SDK for zero day protection

Detects executable code in data packets or in memory

By CBR Staff Writer

DayZero Systems has released a new SigFree Software Development Kit, which will allow users to create new malware detection programs or integrate it into existing threat management suite for zero day protection.

The company said that its SigFree is signature free and does not rely on string matching, and does not slow down the host system. It detects executable code in data packets or in memory and defeats obfuscation and self-modification techniques.

SigFree SDK can be used for web server protection, firewalls, end point protection, memory analysis, and browser protection. It includes SigFree engine, a developers’ guide with API documentation, and sample code and demo apps in multiple languages.

DayZero Systems is providing trial version of SigFree SDK 1.0 for Windows. The Linux version is also made available for licensing for large scale applications.
