By CBR Staff Writer

Datacap, a provider of enterprise data and document capture software, has released FastDoc Capture that combines scanning, document identification, OCR recognition, validations, an intuitive verification panel and integration to SharePoint or a universal output format.

The FastDoc Capture can be installed and scanning documents within minutes and brings batch capture to departments, work groups, small and midsized organisations and special back file conversion projects, the company said.

According to Datacap, the FastDoc Capture augments its data and document capture product Taskmaster which is used for forms processing and automated indexing. FastDoc Capture Solution Provider Program is separate from the Taskmaster Partner Program.

Bob Lastorka, director of business and channel development at Datacap, said: “FastDoc Capture is a product well suited for organisations with limited technical resources, or who are just getting into document automation, and want a product that’s easy to install and support. There is also considerable interest in FastDoc Capture as an OEM product.”
