Beijing PowerUnique Technology (BPUT), a wholly-owned subsidiaries of China VoIP & Digital Telecom (CVDT) said that its alliance system integrator (the SI) has signed several virtualisation contracts to implement an integrated virtualisation offering at the customers’ datacentres in Huizhou Power Supply Bureau, Shantou Power Supply Bureau and South East Motor.
Huizhou Power Supply Bureau and Shantou Power Supply Bureau are two additional clients signed by CVDT and its alliance partners in the energy industry.
Both Huizhou and Shantou power supply bureaus are the subsidiaries of Guangdong Power Grid.
The contract with South East Motor will be BPUT’s second virtualisation project to be implemented in the automotive industry.
BPUT said that it will provide the new customers with their datacentre offering technologies that allows the customer to reduce investment and operating expenses, lowering the total cost of business ownership.
It will also help the customers enhance their datacentre security and reduce the required number of servers.

CVDT president and CEO Kunwu Li said that BPUT played a very important role in assisting the SI in these projects.
"Using our own sales force and leveraging our SI partners, we plan to accelerate our market share growth, which will create a solid foundation for CVDT’s long-term development in the virtualisation industry," Li said.
