MarketLive, a provider of e-commerce software and services, has announced that Cuddledown, a manufacturer of bedding, sleep accessories and home furnishings, has selected MarketLive version 5.5, to strengthen its online channel and deliver improved service to customers.

MarketLive said that Cuddledown will leverage its platform’s rich storefront capabilities to implement ideas that will grow revenue and differentiate the Cuddledown brand.

Cuddledown, a MarketLive version 3.5 customer since 2004, made the decision to upgrade to version 5.5 after an evaluation of e-commerce solution options.

In addition to the upgrade of Cuddledown’s main site, MarketLive version 5.5 multi-site capabilities will allow the company to create an additional site with a different look and feel designed for Cuddledown’s wholesale division, added MarketLive.

Cuddledown will also leverage MarketLive version 5.5 features including enhanced search optimization to bring new customers to Cuddledown’s site without investing a portion of the marketing budget for paid search; dynamic HTML menus to improve site navigation by giving visitors visibility into Cuddledown’s offerings without having to drill down for information; and new architectural capabilities so that application modules can be developed and released cost effectively.
