CSC, a provider of technology-enabled offerings and services, has unveiled CloudSRM, an enterprise supplier relationship management (SRM) offering built on salesforce.com’s enterprise cloud computing platform, Force.com.
CloudSRM improves operational performance of the purchasing and procurement function within organisations by providing an integrated toolset and knowledge base that delivers bottom line savings to organisations across multiple industries, the company said.
The new offering can be integrated with ERP systems to increase overall productivity and agility of the purchasing function, the company said.
It addresses critical operational issues including monitoring tools that fail to make sustainable improvements in buyer performance, inadequate business intelligence and tracking tools, and lack of integrated internal client collaboration and evaluation tools.
CloudSRM uses CSC’s Business-First approach to planning and deployment; and includes the initial configuration, customer support and training, with optional CSC services including customisation of the tool set to meet unique requirements and integration with an existing ERP system.
CSC Cloud Computing and Software Services vice president Siki Giunta said incremental savings and significant improvement in purchasing competencies and skills are results you can expect with CloudSRM.
