CSC is partnering with Ping Identity to jointly offer cloud single sign-on (SSO) and federated identity management (FIM) applications and services to both the public and private sectors worldwide.

The partnership will provide an approach to meet internal and external federation needs in a secure, compliant and cost-effective manner.

The new agreement will enable CSC to offer Cloud SSO and FIM applications powered by PingFederateâ that meet requirements for implementing identity strategies for cross-domain single sign-on.

The joint applications will include partner-to-partner federations; CSC client-to-partner federations; PingFederateâ Cloud SSO; user attribute sharing for X.509 (PKI) authentication; and 7×24 cloud SSO and federation support services.

The duo companies’ joint services and applications will provide customers with enhanced privacy by reducing the propagation of personally-identifiable information and reduced operational costs associated with managing external user identities and improved security.

Customers are also now provided with compliance management by providing secure system access control.

CSC vice president and lead cyber executive Samuel S. Visner said, "By joining forces with Ping Identity, CSC will offer customers a reliable, scalable, economical and easy-to-deploy federation tool that provides enhanced privacy."
