As CBR exclusively reported last month, Cordys has indeed ousted its former CEO and replaced him with Art Landro.
When we broke he news last month Cordys refused to comment beyond syaing they do not comment on "rumour or speculation." Now however the BPM veteran has confirmed that Per Jonsson has left the company after around 18 months as CEO.
The company is yet to elaborate on the reasons for Jonsson’s departure but co-founder and chairman Jan Baan said in a statement that Art Landro would help, "take Cordys to the next level."
Landro joined Cordys in March 2011 as senior vice president of worldwide field operations, where he worked on improving partnerships throughout North America, EMEA and APAC. Prior to joining Cordys he worked in senior roles at EMC and Documentum and was president at open source firm MontaVista Software.
"I am very pleased that Art will lead Cordys and take charge of our growth phase," said Baan. "Art brings the hands-on software experience and drive required to accelerate our revenue growth and take Cordys to the next level."
Landro added: "Cordys is maturing and poised for growth as we ‘operationalise’ the organisation. We have positioned ourselves for success with recognition from top-ranking analysts of our innovative Business Operations Platform, reinvigorated our go-to-market channels with comprehensive partner enablement and support programmes and addressed key vertical solutions for our global customers."
"Recent customer wins in the financial services, government, communications and utilities industries have confirmed both our strategy and focus for the future," he added.
