Continuity Software, a provider of disaster recovery and high availability management offerings, has released a new version of RecoverGuard, which features additional functionality and enhancements in the areas of service level agreement management, cluster support, the graphical user interface, HA/DR risk detection, configuration management database (CMDB) systems integration, Microsoft Active Directory support and reporting capabilities.
The company said that the version 5.0 delivers an offering for validating and assuring both recovery point objectives and recovery time objectives. The graphical overview of SLA compliance enables customers to establish required levels of protection, define policies and then track and remedy violations/breaches/risks.
The new offering provides extended cluster support for Microsoft Failover Cluster, IBM PowerHA, HP Serviceguard, Solaris Cluster, Linux clusters and HP PolyServe. It also provides bi-directional integration with all major CMDB, the company said.
In addition, the new version includes over 800 new risk signatures, extended host configuration, database storage utilisation and NetApp filer replication reporting.
Doron Pinhas, chief technology officer of Continuity Software, said: With the added functionality in v5.0, RecoverGuard provides customers with the ability to establish required levels of protection, define policies and then track and remedy violations, breaches and risks across an even greater breadth of environments – faster and more easily than ever before.
