Video solutions provider Concurrent has introduced Media Data and Advertising Solutions (MDAS), its new cross-platform video application. With the new offering, Concurrent has expanded its deployed data collection platform enabling media stakeholders to correlate interactive media data across television, PC and mobile devices.

Concurrent said that its new application provides customers with a 360 view of their operations, subscriber usage, content consumption and advertising effectiveness, enabling interactivity and addressability to commercialise video.

The new platform reportedly enables interactivity across television, web and mobile networks by collecting, aggregating and correlating cross-services data from multiple systems and sources.

The company said that it is adopting a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model to correlate, sort and formalise data without taxing internal customer resources, allowing customers to focus on their own content strategies and better position their marketing and promotional activities.

Dan Mondor, president and CEO of Concurrent, said: “Collecting and managing media data across multiple platforms is a complex challenge for our customers and partners. Through Media Data and Advertising Solutions, we are uniquely positioned to assist our customers with these challenges and accelerate the adoption of interactive video services.”
