ClickSoftware releases new SaaS service management offering for SMBs

Claims to help organisations automate workflows and control service cycle

By CBR Staff Writer

ClickSoftware Technologies, provider of workforce management and service optimisation offerings, has released ServiceTycoon Version 9, which claims to help small and mid-size service businesses offer higher customer service at lower costs.

With ServiceTycoon’s web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, small to medium-sized business can automate workflows and gain control over service cycle- from the initial customer call to payment. It allows contractors, installers, repair technicians and service professionals manage businesses from the office and the field through mobile devices without the cost and time needed to design and build custom applications, ClickSoftware said.

The company said that customers can choose the features that meet their business requirements, define the language and terminology familiar to their teams and map the workflow options that match their own operations.

According to ClickSoftware, the ServiceTycoon supports mass mailing services and lead management applications that ensure follow-up is consistent and timely. It provides access to customer history, notes and other information from the office or the field and helps to generate proposals in customised templates.
