Bloxx, a provider of appliance-based Web and Email filtering, has said that the City of Sunderland College is using its Web filtering, which is powered by Tru-View technology.

The Web filtering will deliver real-time Web content filtering and reporting for approximately 10,800 onsite students and staff situated in the college’s five campuses, said the company.

City of Sunderland college network engineer Keith Prior said with Bloxx’s real-time content analysis and filtering they have complete visibility and control of what Web pages their users’ are accessing and the use of anonymous proxies by students to bypass their Web filtering has been eradicated.

"With Bloxx Web filtering, the Web content delivered is now much more appropriate for a learning environment and it has significantly helped us with our e-safety compliance," Prior said.
