Citrix Systems has announced the expansion of its mobile workforce offerings for the Android Market with the availability of Citrix GoToMeeting for Android.
DROID BIONIC by Motorola will be pre-loaded in Citrix GoToMeeting as the second Android-powered device to enable users attend online meetings and access their mobile collaboration applications, desktop and data while on the go.
Using Citrix mobile apps, people can join a meeting anywhere they take their mobile device – in a taxi, on a park bench, in an office or from any location, the company claims.
GoToMeeting for Android Market offers free GoToMeeting app for Android smartphone users; join meetings in less time by clicking a link in an email or clicking the GoToMeeting icon; VoIP integrated audio; provides portrait or landscape view; and enables users to view a list of meeting attendees.
Citrix Systems VP and GM of Collaboration, Online Services Division Bernardo de Albergaria said that the GoToMeeting will be available on Android from 8 September 2011.
