Capgemini Group and Sogeti, a subsidiary of Capgemini Group, have launched a new suite of services to help clients realise the business benefits of cloud computing and services.
The company said that its Infostructure Transformation Services enables organisations to re-engineer their IT infrastructure and help clients with the journey – from physical to virtual, and then into cloud, while reducing costs and carbon footprint.
Capgemini Group said that its Infostructure Transformation Services include four distinct offerings – data centre optimisation and consolidation, virtualisation, unified communications and cloud-based offerings. The data centre optimisation involves the consolidation of physical data centre real estate, the modernisation of servers and storage and the rationalisation applications portfolio.
According to the company, its virtualisation service converts hardware such as servers, networks, storage and desktops into virtual environments and helps improve utilisation, speed of deployment and provisioning. Its unified communications and collaboration helps to accelerate the flow of information across all platforms and devices, uniting blended user groups across the organisation.
The company said that its cloud computing and services enables organisations to scale their compute capacity through public, private and hybrid cloud models and access and assemble niche services.
