Calyptix Security, a provider of internet security appliance, has partnered with Third Tier, a provider of remote support services for IT professionals, to offer small business IT professionals the security and services resources they require to offer IT services.
Calyptix said that the partnership allows small business IT professionals to provide services with access to security and services capability on Microsoft technologies, UNIX, networking and internet and IT security matters.
The company said that Third Tier will work with its resellers to integrate the AccessEnforcer internet security product into client networks with Microsoft’s Small Business Server (SBS), Essential Business Server (EBS) and other servers to provide an alternative to vendor support.
Reportedly, Calyptix and Third Tier will also work together to provide enhanced services and troubleshooting tools to address the demands of small and medium businesses (SMBs).
