CA has extended its web access security technology to include support for web applications and web services hosted on Red Hat’s JBoss Enterprise Middleware.
The CA SiteMinder and SOA Security Manager offer organisations secure access management for web applications and services deployed on JBoss Enterprise Middleware, including JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, Enterprise Portal Platform and Enterprise SOA Platform, the company said.
The SiteMinder and SOA Security Manager are part of the company’s secure web business enablement portfolio and are standards-supporting products that help reduce IT security risks associated with deploying web-based applications and web services.
According to CA, the SiteMinder enables web access management system providing web single sign-on, authentication management, policy-based authorisation, identity federation and audit services. SOA Security Manager uses centralised security policies linked to user identities to provide XML threat prevention, authentication, authorisation, federation, session management and security auditing services capabilities.
