CA Technologies has introduced new capabilities for its integrated management platform CA Chorus as well as mainframe management solutions to improve IT efficiency.
The new CA Chorus platform, which integrates system, network and DB2 for z/OS performance management applications into a single interface, will help companies improve the management of networks and systems.
The company said the platform, which ties together security, storage and infrastructure management together, will also reduce outages, increase system availability and allow IT administrators to find and solve problems faster.
Michael Madden, general manager of Mainframe at CA Technologies, said: "As the number of mainframe transactions skyrocket, customers are under pressure to deliver more IT services while cutting costs.
"CA Chorus gives our customers the tools to solve today’s immediate challenges while laying the groundwork for the dynamic data center of the future."
The company has also introduced CA Cross-Enterprise Application Performance Management 3.0 (CA CE APM), which allows non application-centric employees to identify and isolate performance problems faster by monitoring health metrics of critical application components.
Other updated solutions include CA Database Management for DB2 V17, which offers enhanced exploitation of DB2 10 and CA Database Management for IMS V16, which offers expanded support for IMS 13.
