BlueLock, a provider of cloud hosting and managed IT services, said that CA Technologies has selected its VMware vCloud Datacenter Service to enhance CA Process Automation and the VMware vCloud API.
The company said that the integration of CA Process Automation and the VMware vCloud API in its VMware vCloud Datacenter Service will empower CA Technologies customers to deploy and manage virtualised workloads in VMware vCloud-based private, public and hybrid clouds.
VMware vCloud Datacenter Services provide the business agility and cost effectiveness of public clouds without compromising on portability, compatibility, security and control demanded by enterprise IT organisations.
BlueLock public cloud is an enterprise-class service delivering consistent and auditable security and performance features including layer 2 isolation, role-based access control and LDAP integration in a SAS 70 type II certified data centre.
CA Technologies virtualisation and automation general manager Roger Pilc said with a proven track record of delivering secure and agile public cloud resources, BlueLock was the ideal choice to support their CA Service Automation offerings.
"As customers go beyond experimentation with public clouds, our integration work will deliver a solid foundation to automate and manage workloads between private and public VMware vCloud API-enabled architectures," Pilc said.
