C2C, a provider of automated data archiving and management offerings, has unveiled a new edition of its family of email archiving products, ArchiveOne Express, designed for organisations with 20 to 200 Microsoft Exchange mailboxes.
C2C claims that the new version will help organisations improve mail system capacity and meet compliance and e-discovery requirements. It also includes C2C’s new ArchiveOne CloudDR option for automated cloud-based disaster recovery.
The company said that the new version will offer the analytical search and email storage management that smaller businesses require. Additionally, if users have scattered ’email databases’ of their own in PSTs, it will discover and consolidate those files to the central archive without end-user involvement.
According to C2C, the new version features and benefits include: ‘Zero-Training Required’ for users; user access compatible with Apple iPhone and RIM BlackBerry; an integrated search and e-discovery; improved performance of Microsoft Exchange Server; unlimited backend storage; and upgradable to ArchiveOne Enterprise.
The company added that the new version provides access to the company’s new CloudDR option, a remote automated disaster recovery service that connects users to offsite storage over an internet connection.
Dave Hunt, CEO of C2C, said: ArchiveOne Express provides many of the award-winning features of the ArchiveOne product family, protecting multinational companies, yet is easier to install and configure than desktop software. We have created a compelling value for a smaller business looking for a top tier email archiving solution and all for under $40 per mailbox.
