BlueBridge One Business Solutions, a provider of on-demand business solutions, and MaxMind, a provider of online fraud detection tools, have formed a partnership aimed at helping BlueBridge One’s e-commerce users reduce their risk of processing fraudulent webstore orders. The users would also connect to MaxMind’s minFraud Network, consisting of thousands of merchants worldwide.
As part of the partnership BlueBridge One has integrated MaxMind’s fraud protection service with its on-demand e-commerce system providing fraud screening controls for e-commerce users. The integrated system provides users with a risk score as well as a host of real-time fraud checks for each web order processed, the companies said.
Alan Gall, solutions development manager at BlueBridge One, said: MaxMind’s fraud screening service examines online transactions from various angles and applies extensive fraud screenings checks centered around IP geolocation, proxy detection, and reputation data. By leveraging non-personally identifiable data from thousands of merchants and comprehensive analysis, they are then able to identify traits and patterns associated with fraudulent orders. Although this is something many of our e-commerce users have requested in the past this option has not been readily available to them until now.
