Web security and WAN optimisation applications provider Blue Coat Systems has introduced its Unified Security application, through which extended enterprises can now secure all users on devices across any network.
The Blue Coat Unified Security application delivers Global Threat Defence, Universal Policy and Unified Reporting capabilities to the extended enterprise.
The new security app will deliver the policies and protection to all users by leveraging the same patented technologies, infrastructure across appliances and a cloud-based security service.
New release also provides businesses with the flexibility to deploy an application that meets their requirements by delivering Global Threat Defence, Universal Policy and Unified Reporting across its Secure Web Gateway appliances and the cloud-based Blue Coat Security Service, said the company.
The Global Threat Defence provides the extended enterprise with protection powered by the Blue Coat WebPulse collaborative defense.
WebPulse gains visibility into Web and malnet ecosystems by utilising real-time requests and ratings.
