By CBR Staff Writer

Bitrix has launched a new content management system (CMS) Bitrix Site Manager ASP.NET, which is targeted at website content editors, designers and developers who prefer using the Microsoft ASP.NET platform for their web projects.

According to Bitrix, the new content management system offers web2.0 features and has a user-friendly interface to meet all the emerging requirements in website content management use. Its main features include an advanced visual editor, an easy-to-navigate control panel, multi-content media players, and flexible access settings.

The company said that the new CMS allows content managers and web designers to manage text and graphical content, create blogs and forums, upload photos, play video and audio files, create product catalogs, publish news and use RSS import.

Dmitry Khalin, head of strategic technologies dept at Microsoft Russia, said: We do appreciate the high standard of quality of the Bitrix Site Manager ASP.NET product that was fully developed and is constantly improved by the Bitrix team. Using Microsoft .NET technology, this software allows IT developers and content editors to create amazingly sophisticated web projects and enjoy usability and reliable performance in their everyday work.
