Internal application firewall technology provider Bayshore Networks has released SingleKey v5.0, the new version of its internal application firewall which can be deployed at the data centre switch level.

SingleKey detects and blocks attacks on internal applications which violates security rules, protocols and baseline application behavior. It will also help IT administrators to continuously profile behavior and deliver real-time anomaly detection.

The internal application firewall leverages patent-pending baselining, behavior-based analytics and its SingleKey Policy Language (SPL) to detect anomalous behavior in real time.

SingleKey v5.0 includes advanced application behavior profiling, expanded dynamic routing capabilities via BGP, OSPF and Failover and a new Graphical User Interface.

The new release includes re-tooled and expanded Command Line Interface, improved SingleKey Policy Language (SPL) editor and policy validation tools and expanded coverage to include industrial protocols including Modbus and DNP3.

It also includes granular NIST-ready admin, user and role management features, improved logging functionality, including event and SIEM integration features and enhanced remote management capabilities via SingleView.
