A B2B video platform has enlisted an information management consultant to expand its product into the cloud.
nideo launched in July 2013 as a service allowing businesses to upload and share video content via a high definition viewing platform as a means of communicating with customers and potential contacts.
The firm, founded by IT entrepreneurs Roy Kimani and James Hakesley, has now chosen IMGROUP to implement and develop its product in Microsoft’s cloud solution, Windows Azure Media Services.
nideo hopes that by outsourcing its service through the cloud, it can scale its product to meet future demand while avoiding costly infrastructure.
Kimani, said: "nideo enables businesses to communicate and connect with the right audience in an appropriate environment.
"We chose to work with IMGROUP due to its cloud expertise and its track record in successfully implementing Microsoft cloud solutions.
"We knew that hosting the platform in the cloud was the way to go and would enable us to get the platform up and running without the need for expensive upfront investment."
