UK-based infrastructure software provider Autonomy has unveiled the Interwoven Directed Navigation and the Interwoven Merchandising and Recommendation, two new modules designed to enable businesses deliver content to customers.

Based on Autonomy Interwoven’s Meaning Based Marketing approach, these new modules reportedly eliminate the need of manually tagging content, by providing a conceptual understanding of product data and customers.

The company claims that the Autonomy Interwoven Directed Navigation (AIDN) module automatically builds an implicit customer profile based on historical and real-time customer behaviour.

The AIDN module includes implicit profiling capabilities that form an understanding of customers; automatic query guidance for organising product information; and automatic hyper-linking to suggest related products and accessories.

The Autonomy Interwoven Merchandising and Recommendation (AIMR) module reportedly understands content in product catalogues and links it to Interwoven’s web content management to deliver an enhanced output.

The AIMR module includes connectors that ingest and extract meaning from product catalogues and PIM systems; automatic taxonomy generator to categorise product content; and new web content management capabilities for content delivery.
