AT&T introduces new mobile app for iPhone users

Users can now take backed up of PC data on the go

By CBR Staff Writer

AT&T has introduced a new mobile application that will enable small business owners to access their backed up PC data from their iPhone.

The company’s AT&T Tech Support 360SM Backup and Go Mobile App uses an enhanced user interface that integrates with smartphones, and can display 52 of the most common file types, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and photos.

AT&T small business product management vice-president Ebrahim Keshavarz said their new mobile app extends their popular AT&T Tech Support 360 Backup and Go service with easy mobile access for iPhone users.

"Our Backup and Go service provides business-level data back-up, combined with native mobile app access, enabling customers to continue to run their business while away from the office," Keshavarz said.

The Backup and Go app also allows users to share and collaborate on files with colleagues and clients.

Users can search for files on backed-up computers, print, email, or fax directly from a smartphone, and upload files to a computer for online sharing and editing, the company said.
