AT&T has acquired certain assets, and hired certain employees, of inCompass Wireless, a provider of enterprise mobility offerings.

AT&T said that this acquisition will expand its enterprise mobility offerings and professional services expertise and complement it’s existing enterprise mobility offerings and service offerings.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

inCompass Wireless is a mobile system integrator and technology provider that provides mobile application and wireless offering development with back office systems, mobile deployment and mobile managed service, and wireless technology integration and implementation.

The inCompass Wireless consultants and developers joining AT&T have collectively deployed and managed thousands of mobile devices for inCompass’ existing customers.

In addition, the team’s systems integration and deployment expertise spans multiple mobile offerings including fleet management, field force automation, sales force automation, supply chain and wireless infrastructure.

AT&T business solutions advanced enterprise mobility solutions president Michael Antieri said with the acquisition of inCompass Wireless, they are strengthening their already strong foundation to enable business model transformation through mobile applications, machine-to-machine offerings and mobile services.

"The inCompass Wireless team brings end-to-end offering design, software system integration and device management skills which will allow us to meet a broader set of customer needs across the mobile ecosystem," Antieri said.
